Waves of arrests have succeeded in the ranks of activists of the movement "on theroad’96" since October 2011 (arrestof Mustapha Ouchtobane), parallel to the continuity of the peaceful protests of the inhabitants of the municipality of Imider, reaching975 days, markingthe longest sit-in in the history of Morocco. Indeed, Managem campaigned in the media for this illegal agreement since late 2012 and hasa few small placebo-appropriate projects that were already planned as part of the National Initiative for Human Development (NIHD) 2010 -2015, and continued to put pressure on the local council to resume the operation of the water from valves "Tidsa" because according to thelatest article in the (theAgreement) it is considered Invalid if the mining companySMI does not get to use thewater and sand ... Today, as more than one yearand a half have passed after this illusoryagreement on which officials (government and those of Managem) try to spread the Rumorthat Imider file is resolved, the population continues to campaign peacefully and payroll tax of thewords like those which are comes from the mouth of the responsible of thispopulation even this habitants doesn’t get nothing until today (recklessness, threat, punishment, arbitrary detention of the sons of Imider were sentenced more than 30 years in prison since 2011 to present cumulatively)... always within the sameapproach by the authorities with the complicity of officials holding Royal. He followed hiscollege studies at Douar Imider, and had a bachelor'sdegree in Technology in 2008in the city of Ouarzazate. In 2011, he took adegree in mechanical technician inelectricity and automation systemsin Agadir. 2012: Brahim El Hamdaoui, anotheractivist, was attacked in the city of Boumaln bythe same criminal gang thatattacked other activistsAugust 12, 2011 . August 14, 2013: A group of peoplewith common interests with the miningcompany, carried a false complaintagainst several militantwho’s Abdessamad Madri.They were falsely accused of constituting a criminal gang, assault with knives, incitementto illegal gathering at MountAlbban, sabotage propertyof others. As usual, the local authorities have kept their negative neutrality. Circumstances of the arrest: Saturday, March 1, 2014 , around 14h ,elements of the Royal gendarmerie in civilian clothesstopped the car carrying the three activists and their mothers. They used twopersonal cars to stop on the road, when they had arrived Douar Anounizm in thedirection of Mount Albban. Without prior warning, the police started beatingactivists and abuse. Upon arrival there, the commander of Todgha broke thewindows of the car, pulled inhumanly activists, exiting through the window. Theactivists were wounded everywhere because shards of glass. After being out ofthe car, the police have combined blows of hands, boots, beating activists infront of the eyes of their mothers. The violence did not spare mothers who werebeaten and verbally abused and threatened by a policeman who show his gun intheir faces. One of them lost consciousness. The sister of one of the activistshad a fracture in the arm. After the spread of information of threeactivists’ the population of imider were gathered at the foot of Mount Albban. Dozensof activists have joined (atnight, for the first time) theirfamilies who were sit-in since August 2011. It should be noted that the police preventedthe families to see their son detained in centralgendarmerie. PJ waseven denied the detention inthe first place. Trials on what basis? These sentences correspond to charges ofdisturbing the freedom of work, participationin organizing unauthorized demonstration,sabotage a goodutility, disobedience by more than one person, in addition tothe charge of Abdessamad Madri premeditated assaultand hitting using a knife. The meeting of the Session felonies hasbeen postponed to March 5, then to April 10 and to April 24, 2014! The Court of Ouarzazat sentencing the judgementin midnight of the same day against the threes activists of the fair cause ofImider and it's about : Omar Maujane amembers of the dialogue committee : _ 3 years_ Abduesamad Madri astudent who is still continues his studies in Salah din El Ayoubi : _ 3years_ and finally the militant BrahimEl Hamdaoui : _ 3 years_ So 9 years added to the seriesof unfair judgements against the activists of Imider in their peacfull strugglefor human rights in their land.
